چکیده

Compressed air energy storage (CAES) is increasingly investigated as a viable technology for balancing electricity supply and demand. The main purpose of CAES to overcome the intermittent problem when renewable introduced. However, round-trip efficiency (RTE) system commercially developed still low (around 54 %) requires further improvement. This study proposed novel combined cooling, heating power (CCHP) system, which improves RTE in two ways: (i) organic Rankine cycle (ORC), recovers waste heat produces extra power; (ii) single effect absorption refrigeration, delivers cooling capacity with recovery from flue gas. Steady-state process simulation ORC refrigeration was Aspen Plus® software. evaluated through process, energy, exergy analysis. various working parameters on performance CCHP also analysed. results indicated that under design condition, can produce about 206 MW electrical 28 0.2 capacity. (at 66.35%) showed an improvement 12.35% compared deployed. overall 51% total destruction components 477 MW. combustion chamber responsible more than half destruction.

The energy and exergy analysis of a novel cogeneration organic Rankine power and two-stage compression refrigeration cycle

The energy crisis in recent years has led to the use of thermodynamic cycles that work based on renewable energies. Low-temperature cycles—such as organic cycles—are suitable strategies for the application of renewable energies. The present study proposes a novel cycle through the integration of a two-stage compression refrigeration cycle with a combined Rankine power and ejector refrigerat...
